I'm off to California for a week. It looks like a nice swell is hitting tomorrow, perfect timing for my arrival. The waves will be good, but I'll be sharing them with a few thousand San Diego County surfers. It's elbow to elbow out there. I hate crowds in the ocean. But I hope to make the best of it.
I'm pretty excited to see my best pals from childhood, Georgie and the Bryce-man. I think we're going to surf lowers on Saturday.
