Heading into June the ocean was still fairly active in these parts, compared to most years. I was able to score sessions in late May and through the last couple weeks of spring before the bottom fell out and the summer conditions made themselves dominant. Hopefully this recent flat spell doesn't last long and we're rewarded with something to ride in July. We really just need one trade swell event to hold us over until the tropical season kicks in. Fingers crossed.
